Interview with Draven Star

Hello Draven, those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?

My name is Draven Star. I’m from Western MA, I currently live in Baltimore and I’m pretty rad. I’m into princesses, serial killers, baking, blood and tattoos. I have two Chihuahuas that I treat like my children and I love The Cure and Harry Potter.

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

Well, I’d always wanted to do alt modeling, but I couldn’t find a site that I wanted to be a part of. When I was 19 I was modeling for a small company that introduced me to Burning Angel. I’ve been a part ever since.

What drew you to joining Joanna Angel’s company?

It looked like a lot of fun and the girls seemed to really love being a part of it. Joanna is an awesome woman, and that’s all I needed. I’ve been on the site for about four years.

Like all the Burning Angel Girls you have tattoos. What one has the most interesting story behind it and could you please tell it?

Well, I did just get a cute little anchor with ‘2012’ under it on my left hand. 3 other burning angels; Kleio, Phoenix and Jessie Lee, all have the same one. Pretty much to keep ourselves anchored and to stick with the girls that are real until the end of the world. I don’t know if the world will end in 2012, but it’s the symbolization.

What would you say is your favorite scene you have done so far?

I have three. My scene with James Deen in Fuck Me in the Bathroom 3 is fucking awesome and I had so much fun with it. The one I did with James and Bella Vendetta in Friends Don’t Let Friends Fuck Alone 2 is rad because Bella is one of my best friends and we all had such great chemistry, and finally the scene that will be released in Joanna’s Angels 3 is my first anal scene. It’s also my first time having anal sex ever. It was with Kleio, who I love so so much, and Tommy Pistol, who I had had a crush on for a long time. It was pretty sweet.

What would you say is the biggest misconception people have of people who work in the adult industry?

I think it would be that something horrible happened to the girls in their childhood/teens that drove them to doing porn as a last resort or because they hate themselves. I’m a happy, well adjusted person. I just like to have sex on film.

Do you have a particular performer that you wish to emulate as far as their career? If so who is it?

I want to be me. I’m the Doom Doll and I want my career to be mine.

Who are the people that you really want to work with while you are doing movies?

A lot, actually. Jenna Haze and I get along very well, and she’s crazy hot. However, I’ve had a crush on Jiz Lee from before I was even in porn. Working with her would be like, my porno dream come true.

What advice would you give someone that is thinking about joining the adult industry?

Be sure. Everyone will see it! Also, don’t get into it for the wrong reasons. This industry is awesome, but if you’re doing it for the wrong reasons, it’s not good.

How would people back home describe you when you were growing up?

Quiet. I never even wore shorts in the summer growing up. I’ve been able to grow into myself a lot, and Joanna helped me do that.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

I really enjoy my modeling outside of porn. Also, I love to sing and go dancing. I also spend a lot of time with my little Chihuahuas.

Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?

My movie is out! It’s called Crushing on Draven Star and its starring me. Joanna, Bella Vendetta and Regan Reese are also in it. Everyone should buy it and tell me how they like it. Also, Joanna’s Angels 3 will be out in September and it is amazing. Get excited, because this movie is going to be sweet.
